Panel 1B: Towards a Global Financial Inclusion Data Infrastructure

This session will discuss how much progress the industry has made on developing a global financial data architecture. This will include a discussion of recent progress made by G-20 on a basic set of financial inclusion indicators, the release of a new Global Financial Inclusion Database (FINDEX) and an update of the Global Microscope on the Microfinance Business Environment. The session will present these initiatives and discuss how they complement with each other, as well as identify gaps and opportunities for further improvement.
