The purpose of the Social Protection and Health Network hemispheric meeting is to review the performance of some of the region’s healthcare systems regarding chronic disease prevention and management, share the knowledge gained in other regions, pinpoint knowledge gaps and identify priority investments for future prevention and management of chronic diseases in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The expected result is a regional agenda of knowledge and priority investments to assist healthcare systems in preventing and managing chronic diseases. English-Spanish translation will be available.
