The Integration and Trade Sector of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Cooperation and Investment Agency of Medellín (ACI), and Proexport Colombia are organizing the second edition of the Latin America and the Caribbean Outsourcing and Offshoring Forum - Outsource2LAC 2012- to be held at Plaza Mayor in the city of Medellin, Colombia on December 5 and 6, 2012.

This Forum will present some of the major trends in the global services industry, highlight profitable business opportunities readily available in LAC countries, and propose strategies to encourage growth and sustainable development within the services sector in the LAC region.

More than 500 service companies from around the globe are expected to attend the Summit, including representatives from nations with large presences of service companies and investors such as India, the Philippines, the United States and Europe. Also expected to attend are delegates from the Trade and Investment Promotion Organizations of more than 20 LAC countries, and representatives of venture capital funds interested in investing in projects and businesses that offer an innovative value proposition.

Business Matchmaking will be offered as a value-added opportunity to meet with buyers and investors, particularly through pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings. Participants will also be invited to attend several social networking activities free of charge.
