The IDB's Regional Policy Dialogue, the IAI and the RCC-SSA organized this workshop to explore the many issues related to the generation and delivery of climate services in the region. The workshop will bring together policy makers, scientists and representatives of governmental and nongovernmental organizations responsible for producing, developing and facilitating the use of climate information. As part of the workshop, the participants in the Regional Climate Center and the Cooperative Research Network for Climate Services funded by the IAI will define specific areas of collaboration and interaction, and invite other participating institutions to join this collaboration.
