Even before the
celebration of the first International Anti-Corruption Day 9 years ago, the IDB
has been at the forefront of assisting member countries in their fight against
corruption to overcome the challenges it poses to the attainment of the development
goals, and in detriment of those who need the most assistance.
In celebrating the
2012 International Anti-Corruption Day, the IDB Office of External Relations, the Case Officer, the
Division of Institutional Capacity of the State, the Research Department, the Sanctions
Committee, and the Office of
Institutional Integrity would like to invite you to participate in a series of presentations and brown bag seminars that will explore the work, that the Bank in partnership with member countries, is undertaking to prevent corruption, as well as the Bank’s efforts to identify and resolve issues of fraud and corruption in Bank operations.
