The Inter-American Awards for Financial and Entrepreneurial Innovation were created to recognize organizations that have made outstanding contributions to the development in Latin America and the Caribbean in three specific areas: financial inclusion, green business and high impact investments. The award ceremony will take place this year in Guadalajara, México during the XVI Foromic.
The winning institutions will receive certificates for specialized training to improve their operations, sponsored by Citi Foundation.
2013 Financial Inclusion
This award will recognize an innovative and efficient financial institution that provides financial services to poor and low-income populations in Latin America and the Caribbean.

2013 Green Business
This award will recognize micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) initiatives that are developing sustainable "green" businesses aimed at developing clean and/or efficient energy products and services for low-income populations or MSMEs in the region.

2013 High Impact Fund Manager
This award will recognize a venture capital fund manager whose funds are at an advanced stage and have achieved high impact in the Latin American and the Caribbean.

2013 Excellence and Sustainability of Mexican Microenterprises
This award will recognize the experience, organizational capacity and innovative and successful initiatives of individual or collective Mexican microenterprises oriented to low-income population.
