Recent studies estimate that improving construction methods and appliance standards could reduce between 1.4 to 2.9 GtCO2 by 2020 (UNEP, 2013). At the same time, housing is a critical sector for increasing resiliency to future climate impacts in urban areas. For that reason, this dialogue seeks to generate a space to exchange ideas between Ministries of Housing in charge of the sectorial policy and the Ministries of Environment, the guiding entity of environmental policy in general and the climate change agenda in particular.

Venue: Hotel Almirante. Cartagena, Colombia.
