About Foromic

The XII Foromic will be held at Cerro Juli, Campo Ferial Cerro Juli s/n, Arequipa, Perú from September 30 to October 2, 2009.

Foromic will provide a platform for all stakeholders in the microfinance and microenterprise development industry to meet their colleagues and exchange best practices, methodologies, and strategies to promote and support the microenterprise sector.  Through its many technical sessions, plenaries, workshops, and training, the XII Foromic will be focusing on the current economic and financial crisis and how it affects the microenterprise sector in Latin America and the Caribbean.  Other topics include responsible finance, regulatory improvements, technology in microfinance, innovations in reaching new clients, and new developments in old products, such as microinsurance. 

The participants can enjoy the unique environment offered by the Foromic for networking and making business deals with private sector investors, MFIs, development agencies, consulting companies, and other players in the sector.
